This hybrid course combines self-paced online learning and hands-on, instructor-led instruction to teach participants how to accurately perform whole home heat loss and gain calculations, primarily for the retrofit market.
Based on the principles of CSA F280, this program focuses on real-world applications of residential load calculations using two powerful digital tools:
Stride, a mobile LIDAR scanning app that captures a home’s geometry and layout in minutes.
Studio, a 3D modeling and reporting platform that allows users to visualize, edit, and export accurate whole home heat loss and gain reports.
Together, these tools streamline the calculation process from site data collection to professional-grade reporting, helping you improve accuracy, efficiency, and customer confidence.
