4-Day Full National Building Code (NBC)

This 4-day workshop is a comprehensive review of Canada’s 2020 Objective-Based National Building Code,
Part 9: The House (NBC). The NBC is recognized in Atlantic Canada as the minimum standard for technical provisions in the design, and construction of new buildings and renovations.
The Code also applies to the demolition and alterations of existing buildings.

This course will guide students through the Objective-Based approach, providing opportunities to use the Code in practical exercises and discussions. A final exam will be administered after 2 days of study and again on the last day
